Intermedica Telemedicine was set up to satisfy ever increasing demand for medical expertise in numerous European countries experiencing problems in the delivery of healthcare services due to the scarcity of medical specialists.

We have developed a more efficient way of centralising and sharing specialist competence by offering cost-effective sub-specialist diagnostic services to hospitals which have difficulties in rendering specialist services by themselves.

Intermedica Ltd. was established in May 1999 as a result of the co-operation between Polish medical specialists and a renowned Danish medical corporation Transmedica A/S, which today is a 100% shareholder in the Company.

The company set up a Non-Public Health Care Unit INTERMEDICA, now comprising three modern and very well-equipped Eye Clinics: in Poznan, Cracow and Szczecin.
Intermedica’s objective has always been to supply medical procedures of the highest quality as well as maximum comfort and safety for our patients.

Drawing on our clinical experience, we have decided to render high quality telemedicine services for clinics abroad.
